Meeting of the Fulton County Commissioners - Tuesday, August 7, 2018 8:30 a.m. at the Commissioners' Office Present: Commissioner Ulsh and Commissioner Lynch Absent: Commissioner McCray was attending CCAP Conference in Gettysburg The Commissioners opened their meeting with prayer and recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Motion by Commissioner Lynch to approve the minutes of the Tuesday, July 31, 2018 meeting. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Ulsh to approve the Accounts Payable dated August 6, 2018 in the amount of $67,706.81. All in favor. July 1, 2018-June 30, 2019. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Lynch approving endorsement of the Purchase Service Agreement between the County of Fulton and Merakey Pennsylivania effective July 1, 2018-June 30, 2019. All in favor. Chief Clerk McConahy presented the Board with a Proposal from MCCUTCHEON Enterprises, Inc. for a Certified Hazmat Clean-Up Contractor Services which is required by the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency. The proposal was in the amount of $2500/Annually in comparison to the $6,500 annual amount proposed by the Cumberland County Special Hazards Operation Team. The Firm EPS that provided services over the past several years has gone out of business. These fees can be applied for as a part of the County's Hazardous Material Response Fund (HMRF) Grant and once approved can reimburse the General Fund. Motion by Commissioner Lynch to accept the proposal submitted by MCCUTCHEON Enterprises, Inc. in the amount of $2,500.annually for a Certified Hazmat Clean-Up Contractor retainer. All in favor. The Commissioners met with Susan Walter, Director from Tri-State Community Health Center regarding celebrating the legacy of America's Health Centers and their vital role in shaping the past, present and future of America's Health Care System. During National Health Center Week, Tri-State will be doing special events throughout the week of August 12""-18". Also, attending this meeting were: Elen Ott; Tri-State Board of Directors & Fulton County Family Partnership, Julia Dovey; Fulton County Family Partnership, Kelly Yingling Oswald; Tri-State Nurse Practitioner, Teresa Hess; Tri-State Charge Nurse, and Jack Elvey; Tri-State Case Manager. Motion by Commissioner Lynch to endorse a Proclamation declaring August 12-18, 2018 as National Health Center Week. All in favor.
