LANCASTER COUNTY BOARD OF ASSESSMENT APPEALS REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING MINUTES April 9, 2025 The monthly meeting of the Board of Assessment Appeals was held on Wednesday, April 9, beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Conference Room on the 3rd floor oft the Lancaster County Offices located at 150 North Queen Street. The following members were present: Richard G. Cornogg, Chairman Linford L. Good Kevin Edwards, Director of Assessment John Tierney, Deputy Director Also present: Melvin E. Newcomer, Solicitor to the Board R. Barbara McQuaid, Recording Secretary The minutes of the March 12, 2025, regular meeting of thel Board were approved by Mr. Conogg and seconded by Mr. Good. PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION REQUESTS 1/ NEW HOLLAND AREA HISTORICAL SOCIETY/ A: motion was made by Mr. Cornogg and seconded by Mr. Good to approve 54% exemption for the property at 207 East Main Street, located in New Holland Boro, parcel number 480-65898-4-0001. This will be effective beginning with the 2025-2026 School and 2026 County and Municipal tax years. Motion passed. 2/ WATER STREET MISSION/ A motion was made by Mr. Cornogg and seconded by Mr. Good to approve the exemption for the property at 121 South Prince Street, located in Lancaster City, parcel number 334-58567-0-0000. This will be effective beginning with the 2025-2026 School and 2026 County and Municipal tax years. Motion passed. 3/ WATER STREET MISSION/ A motion was made by Mr. Cornogg and seconded by Mr. Good to approve exemption for the property at 131 South Prince Street, located in Lancaster City, parcel number 334-61811-0-0000. This will be effective beginning with the 2025-2026 School and 2026 County and Municipal tax years. Motion passed. DISABLED VETERANS: 1/ KELLER, JEFFREY A. (Disabled Veteran, New)/ A motion was made by Mr. Good and seconded by Mr. Comogg to approve exemption for the property on Buttonwood Drive, located in West Donegal Township, parcel number 160-45164-0- 0000. The exemption will be effective beginning with the 2025-2026 School and 2026 County and Municipal tax years. Motion passed. 2/ WELSH, BARRY L. (Disabled Veteran, New)/. A motion was made by Mr. Good and seconded by Mr. Cornogg to approve exemption for the property on Countyside Drive, located in Clay Township, parcel number 070-81887-0-0000. The exemption will be effective beginning with the 2025-2026 School and 2026 County and Municipal tax years. Motion passed. 3/ CALECA, MATTHEW J. (Disabled Veteran, New)/ A motion was made by Mr. Good and seconded by Mr. Cornogg to approve exemption for the property on North Grant Street, located in Manheim Boro, parcel number 400-87522-0-0000. The exemption will be effective beginning with the 2025 County and Municipal and 2025- 2026 School tax years. Exonerated 2025 County and Municipal taxes. Motion passed. 4/LOMBARDO, ANTHONY' T. (Disabled Veteran, New)! A motion was made by Mr. Good and seconded by Mr. Cornogg to approve exemption for the property on Raven Crest, located in Martic Township, parcel number 430-72832-0-0000. The exemption will be effective beginning with the 2025-2026 School and 2026 County and Municipal tax years. Motion passed. 5/ SALVETTI, KYLE L. (Disabled Veteran, New)/ A motion was: made by Mr. Good and seconded by Mr. Cornogg to approve exemption for the property on Quaking Aspen Lane, located in East Donegal Township, parcel number 150-72733-0-0000.
