Monthly Minutes of the Lancaster County Salary Board March 3, 2025 The meeting was called to order by Commissioner Joshua Parsons at 1:30 p.m. in the Commissioners Conference Room 701, 7th Floor, at the Lancaster County Offices, 150 N. Queen Street. Members Present: Commissioner Joshua Parsons, Commissioner Ray D'Agostino, Commissioner Alice Yoder, and Controller Lisa Colon. Others Present: Tania Maser, Tom Martin, Brian Pasquale, Larry George, Christina Peddigree, Mike Fitzpatrick, Carly Galura, Rithu George, Lydia Kovalchuk, Paul Landers, Dennis Dougherty and Kathy Kunkel. Note: there were others present who did not sign in and whose identity is unknown. Commissioner Yoder moved to approve the minutes of the February 3, 2025, meeting. Commissioner D'Agostino seconded. The motion carried unanimously. Behavioral Health and Developmental Services - Tania Maser a. Request approval to eliminate two (2) vacant PT Caseworker positions (502428, 502646), Grade I, and create, post and fill one (1) additional FT Caseworker position, Grade I, effective upon approval. (Min: $44,089.50 Mid: $55,126.50 Max: $66,144). Commissioner D'Agostino moved to approve. Commissioner Yoder seconded. The motion passed unanimously. Office of Aging - Tom Martin a. Request approval for a temporary 5% salary increase for employee (22272), due to assuming additional duties for Fiscal Officer I position, effective January 8, 2025, until April 8, 2025, or until the incumbent returns from leave. Commissioner Yoder moved to approve. Commissioner D'Agostino seconded. The motion passed unanimously. Public Safety - Brian Pasquale a. Request approval to hire applicant at an annual salary of $92,000 which is above the start rate for a Deputy Director - Public Safety Technology position (500461), Grade S, effective March 24, 2025. (Min: $76,606.40 Mid: $95,763.20 Max: $114,920). b. Request approval to reclassify one (1) Fire Service Coordinator position (504211), Grade K to a Fire Service Coorinator/Operations Manager Grade Q, effective upon salary board approval. This will result in the incumbent (24889) receiving a 10% increase. (Min: $69,472 Mid: $86,840 Max: $104,208) Salary Board Minutes March 3, 2025 Page 2 C. Request approval to reclassify and post two (2) part-time Maintenance Worker I positions (504001, 504550), Grade A, to Fire and Emergency Instructor III positions, Grade K, with supplemental Instructor Progression Plan, effective upon approval. (Min: $51,854.40 Mid: $64,833.60 Max: $77,792) Commissioner D'Agostino moved to approve items 5a, b and C. Commissioner Yoder seconded. The motion passed unanimously. Youth Intervention Center - Lawrence George a. Request approval of a temporary 10% increase for employee (16384) for assuming the role of Acting Director of Youth Intervention Center, effective March 1, 2025, until such time that the Director of Youth Intervention Center position is filled. Commissioner Yoder moved to approve. Commissioner D'Agostino seconded. The motion passed unanimously. Commissioner D'Agostino moved to adjourn the meeting at 2:45 p.m. Commissioner Yoder seconded.
