Forsyth County Board of Voter Registrations & Elections Regular Monthly Meeting April 14, 2025 at 9 a.m. Forsyth County Voter Registrations & Elections Office 1201 Sawnee Drive Cumming, Georgia 30040 MINUTES Present at the meeting: Barbara Luth, Chairman Joel Natt, Vice Chairman Anita Tucker, Secretary Carla Radzikinas, Assistant Secretary Debbie Stair, Member Mandi Smith, Director Carol Balcome, Assistant to the Director I. Call Meeting to Order Chairman Luth called the meeting to order at 9 a.m. II. Pledge of Allegiance III. Adoption of Agenda Vice Chairman Natt with a second from Secretary Tucker made a motion to adopt the agenda as published. Motion carried unanimously. IV. New Business A. Board approval of Sharon Forks Library as the new Election Day polling location for precinct 21-South Forsyth for the 2025 election cycle Vice Chairman Natt with a second from Secretary Tucker made a motion to move the polling location for 21-South Forsyth precinct from Sharon Springs Park to the Sharon Forks Library as published for the 2025 Election Cycle. Motion carried unanimously. B. Advance Voting for the 2025 election cycle The Board discussed whether to hold Advance Voting in 2025 at the Elections Office only or open additional locations. Chairman Luth with a second from Vice Chairman Natt made a motion to hold Advance Voting at the Elections Office only for the June 17, 2025 Special Primary and the possible July 15, 2025 Special Primary Runoff. Motion carried 3- 2 (Stair and Tucker opposed). Vice Chairman Natt with a second from Secretary Tucker made a motion to amend the previous vote taken January 7, 2025 and extend the hours of Advance Voting to 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday for all three weeks. Motion carried unanimously. The Board discussed Advance Voting locations for the November 4, 2025 Municipal Genera/Special Election. Chairman Luth with a second from Assistant Secretary Radzikinas made a motion to hold Advance Voting at the Elections Office only for the November 4, 2025 Municipal General/Special Election. Motion failed 2-3 (Natt, Stair and Tucker opposed). Vice Chairman Natt with a second from Chairman Luth made a motion to postpone the decision until the May 6, 2025 regular meeting. Motion carried unanimously. V. Recess Regular Meeting VI. Executive Session There was no need for an Executive Session. VII. Adjournment Vice Chairman Natt with a second from Secretary Tucker made a motion to adjourn at 9:44 a.m. Motion carried unanimously.
