Minutes of Cresson City Council Meeting February 11, 2025 The City Council reserves the right to adjourn into Executive Session during the course ofthe meeting to seek legal advice from its attorney regarding any item on the posted agenda as authorized by Section 551.071 ofthe Texas Government Code. Mayor Pro Tem Clement called the City Council Meeting of Cresson, Texas to order at 7:00 P.M. on February 11, 2025, in the City Council Chambers. Attendance as follows: Mayor Ron Becker (absent) Lisa Clement Jeff Keeney Jacob Shelly Gary Robertson Corey Barker City Attorney Rachel Raggio Councilperson Keeney gave the invocation and Councilperson Robertson led us in the Pledge of Allegiance and the Texas Pledge. The meeting is opened to the public. Citizen's Comments Citizen Roy Doolin of 104 E. Bluebonnet Drive wondered if maps and addresses can be added when an agenda is posted with any zoning and plating items. Items for Future Agendas None Deliberation Agenda A. Consider and possibly act on Ordinance No. 2025-001 for a franchise agreement with SiEnergy. Councilperson Robertson makes a motion to approve the ordinance as written. Consider and possibly act on Speed Zone Ordinance No. 2025-002 as requested by TxDot for portions of the new US 377 Bypass that falls within Cresson City Limits. Councilperson Keeney makes a motion to approve the ordinance as written. Councilperson Barker seconds the motion. 5 ayes and 0 nays. The motion is passed unanimously. C. Consider and possibly act on Resolution 2025-R001 Calling for City Council General Election. Councilperson Keeney makes a motion to approve the resolution with the stipulation of updated dates in 2 sections. Councilperson Barker seconds the motion. 5 ayes and 0 nays. The motion is passed unanimously. D. Consider and act on approval of the minutes ofthe City Council meeting held on December 10, 2024. Councilperson Robertson makes a motion to approve the minutes as written. Councilperson Barker seconds the motion. 5 ayes and 0 nays. The motion passed unanimously.
