Meeting of the Fulton County Commissioners = Tuesday, August 1, 2017 8:30 a.m. at the Commissioners' Office Present: Commissioner Ulsh, Commissioner McCray and Commissioner Lynch The Commissioners opened their meeting with prayer and recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Motion by Commissioner Ulsh to approve the minutes of the Tuesday, July 25, 2017 meeting. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner McCray to approve the Accounts Payable dated July 28, 2017 in the amount of $70,273.81. All in favor. All in favor. The Commissioners met with Susan B. Walter, Tammy Baer, Jack Elvey and Board Member Ellen Ott from Tristate Community Health Center regarding National Health Center Week. The Local Tri-State Community Health Center treats approximately 6,000 patients and maintains a staff of 30 professionals to provide quality healthcare. Motion by Commissioner Lynch to endorse a Proclamation that the week of August 13-19, 2017 is National Health Center Week. All in favor. The Commissioners met with Michael Lamb, Wessel & Company regarding the external audit and the review of the retirement fund proposal that was submitted by Raymond James. The Commissioners reviewed an email from Greg Reineke regarding Bedford-Fulton- Huntingdon Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on September 30, 2017. I Commissioners have agreed to holding this event at the 610 E. North Street warehouse location. As a result of the Annual External Audit being conducted this past week by Zelenkofske Axelrod LLC, the Commissioners were presented with a standard procedural letter from the Auditing Firm stating what services they will be conducting. Motion by Commissioner McCray to sign the Procedural Letter from Zelenkofske Axelrode LLC. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner McCray to execute a Contract between the County of Fulton and Kids Peace National Center Inc. for the period of July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017. All in. favor. Chief Clerk and Right-To-Know Officer McConahy, briefed the Commissioners on the recent Right-To-Know/ Sunshine Act Training that we hosted on July 26, 2017. Representatives from the Local Municipalities, elected officials as well as County Employees attended this half-day session presented by the Office of Open Records, Harrisburg, PA. As a result ofthe meeting, it was noted we need to name an alternate Right-To-Know Officer. Motion by Commissioner Lynch to appoint Lisa Beatty as the Alternate Right-To-Know Officer. All in favor.
