Meeting of the Fulton County Commissioners - Tuesday, August 17, 2021 8:30 a,m, at the Commissioners' Office Present: Commissioner Ulsh, Commissioner Bunch and Commissioner Shives Absent: None Others Present: Cassidy Pittman, Fulton County News, Solicitor Stein Commissioner Ulsh opened the meeting with a silent prayer and recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. Motion by Commissioner Shives to approve the: minutes ofthe August 10, 2021 meeting. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Bunch to approve the accounts payable dated August 13, 2021 in the amount of $161,320.99. All in favor. All in favor. The Commissioners met with Christine McQuade, Director of Children & Youth Services regarding the 2021 Needs Based Budget Amendment, Act 148 Fourth Quarter Certifications Statement, CWIS Data Sharing. Agreement and 2021 Caseworker Visitation Funds. Motion by Commissioner Bunch to approve the Needs Based 2021 Budget Amendment Statement. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Ulsh to approve the Act 148 4th Quarter Certification Statement. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Shives to endorse the Department of Human Services CWIS Data Sharing Agreement. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Ulsh to approve the 2021 Caseworker Visitation Funds disbursement. All in favor. The Commissioners met with Patty Hess, Election Director regarding Voting Machine vendors. Motion by Commissioner Ulsh to Enter Executive Session with Carol Wright, HR. Administrator regarding Personnel Matters at 9:50 a.m. All in favor. In addition, as a part of the Executive Session, The Commissioners met with Solicitor Stein and' Tom King III, Special Counsel via conference call regarding legal matters. Motion by Commissioner Ulsh to Exit Executive session at 10:30 a.m. All in favor. No action was taken. Motion by Commissioner Bunch to approve the filing by Special Counsel and the County Solicitor of a Petition for Review on behalf of Fulton County and the Fulton County Board of Elections challenging the decertification of Fulton County's election machines by the Secretary oft the Commonwealth, and matters related thereto and authorizing Chairman Ulsh the Authority to sign the Verification. Commissioners UIsh and Bunch in favor. Commissioner Shives opposed. Motion carried. The Commissioners, Patti Hess, Lisa Beatty, Eldon Martin and Carol Wright participated in a HART product Demonstration for Election Equipment.
