These booths are engineered to provide a controlled acoustic environment, enhancing privacy, productivity and user comfort. To provide a quiet, private space for our community to access technology to use forj job interviews and testing, conduct telehealth meetings, tutoring, attend online meetings and classes. By offering access points outside of our building we Criterion 01 Needs Assessment: Describe why the project is needed, the project goals and audience; the greater community to be served and include demographic statistics, library records, or surveys to support these statements; Attach letters of cooperation showing commitment to the project from agencies to be involved, if applicable. Criterion 01 Points 15 Answer 01 4 Silsbee is a rural town located north of Beaumont and two hours from Houston. We do not have access to specialists or a hospital in our town and we do not have a public transportation system to take patients to appointments. We have seen the need from our community for a private space that can be utilized for meeting with their doctors through Teladoc or other forums. This would not only be convenient for our community but will ensure that they have a way to stay in contact with their - Criterion 02 a Project Design & Technical Feasibility Broadband Infrastructure: Clearly describe the project and the network technology; Outline expected speeds and reliability; Identify services to be contracted to complete the construction project; Describe any partnerships with Internet service providers, municipalities, or community organizations. - Criterion 02 Points 20 Answer 02 A By offering the Pillar Booths, which are designed for quiet and private workspaces, we can meet the numerous needs of the community. Personally, we have encountered many: situations where the need for such space has been evident. For example, people come to the library to study for tests, others that need a completely quiet location to take a final exam, and those who need a place to conduct an online telehealth appointment.
