City Staff, a member ofthe GMDD and the City Engineer formed a panel to interview respondents of a drainage consultant RFQ created by staff. The Engineering firm ofTeague, Nall and Perkins was selected as the drainage consultant and staff is now requesting that the Council provide the authorization to move forward in creating a Professional Services Agreement between Teague, Nall and Perkins and the City of Gunter. AGENDA ITEM SUMMARY/BACKGROUND The Gunter City Council, with financing by the Gunter Municipal Development District, have moved forward on a purchase agreement for approximately one acre of land located across from the Gunter City Park to be utilized as future parking for both the Gunter City Park and the down town business area. City Council has requested that the GISD agree to a Memorandum of Understanding that would agree to the City having future access to the GISD lift station located on the site of the current elementary school if needed.
