Meeting of the Fulton County Commissioners - Tuesday, May 8, 2018 8:30 a.m. at the Commissioners' Office Present: Commissioner Ulsh, Commissioner McCray and Commissioner Lynch The Commissioners opened their meeting with prayer and recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Motion by Commissioner Lynch to approve the minutes of the Tuesday, May 1, 2018 meeting. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner McCray to approve the Accounts Payable dated May 7, 2018 in the amount of $195,994.99. All in favor. All in favor. The Commissioners met with Karen Hann McFadden to discuss Election Matters. Motion by Commissioner McCray to appoint thet following to the 2018 Flag Committee: Mike DeShong-Ayr Township/MiComnelsburg Borough, Ray Miller-Belfast Township, Brett Remsburg-Bethel Township, Donald Fischer, Jr.-Brush Creek Township, Doug Brown-Dublin Township, Donald EisamanLicking Creek Township, Clair Traxler-Taylor Township, Sharon Knable-Thompson Township, Dennis Hill-Todd Township, Ronnie Trois-Union Township and Howard Barnett-Wells Township. All in favor. The Commissioners met with Ruth Strait regarding 9-1-1 Issues. It was requested several months ago to receive a current copy oft the Standard Operating Procedures from Bedford County 9-1-1 center. To date, that has not been received sO the Commissioners along with Mrs. Strait contacted Dave Cubbison and Harry Corley via a conference call this morning requesting to have the Standard Operating Procedures by close of business today. The Standard Operating Procedures will be reviewed locally to see if we need an addendum to address Fulton County separately. Motion by Commissioner McCray to send a letter to the Townships at the Southern End of County regarding the recycling bins in their area. All in favor. The Commissioners attended a tour at the Fulton County Medical Center. The Commissioners attended a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at the Fulton County Probation Office.
