WHEREAS, the TOWN participates in the Small Cities CDBG Program under the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, and administered by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Division of Water Infrastructure (DWI); WHEREAS, the TOWN certifies to the Division that it will affirmatively further fair housing; and WHEREAS, the Assessment of Fair Housing is required under this program; WHEREAS, the Assessment of Fair Housing is generally equivalent to the Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing; and THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the TOWN COUNCIL of the TOWN OF HERTFORD, North Carolina: That this Assessment of Fair Housing is hereby adopted and to be used throughout the implementation of the TOWN OF HERTFORD CDBG PROGRAM Adopted this day of April, 2025.
