59 Meeting of the Fulton County Commissioners - Tuesday, June 21, 2022 8:30 a.m. at the Commissioners Office Present: Commissioner Ulsh, Commissioner Bunch and Commissioner Shives Absent: None Others Present: None Commissioner Ulsh opened the meeting with prayer and all recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. Motion by Commissioner Bunch to approve the Commissioners' Minutes of the June 14, 2022 meeting. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Shives to approve the Accounts Payable dated June 20, 2022 in the amount of $166,183.69. All in favor. Commissioners met with Jon Cramer and David Lytle with Conrad Siegel as part of their annual Retirement Board meeting to review the county employees' Retirement System. HR Admin, Deanna Park and County Treasurer, Monica Seville were also in attendance. Commissioners met with Jamie Shrawder and Tyler Dombroski with SEDA Cog, via zoom, to review the CDBG contract for fiscal year 2021. Commissioners met with EMA/911 Director, Brian Barton to discuss a new hire for the Clerk Typist 1 position in the 911 Center. Motion by Commissioner Shives to hire Melissa Brown-Souders to fill the vacant Clerk Typist 1 position in the EMA/911 center with a start date of July 4, 2022. All in favor. 60 Commissioners met with Chief Probation Officer, Dan Miller to discuss a new hire for the Admin Support Staff position and to review/approve travel requests for training. Motion by Commissioner Ulsh to hire Sheri Perry for the Admin Support Staff position in the Probation Department with a start date of July 4, 2022. All in favor. A Salary Board meeting was held at 9:56 AM and 10:08 AM to set the wage rate for the new hires in the EMA/911 Center and the Probation Department. County Treasurer, Monica Seville was in attendance for both. Commissioners met with HR Admin, Deanna Park to go over updates to the Covid-19 policy. Commissioners met with Elections Director, Patti Hess to go over election matters. Motion by Commissioner Shives to approve the Purchase of Service Agreement between the County of Fulton and Professional Family Care effective July 1, 2022-June 30, 2023. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Ulsh to approve the Purchase of Service Agreement between the County of Fulton and Children's Aid Society, Inc. effective July 1, 2022-June 30, 2023. All in favor. Commissioners discussed implementing an optional four day work week and asked Chief Clerk, Stacey Golden to reach out to the department heads to see if it would be feasible. Commissioners agreed that it would be a temporary trial run if implemented. Commissioners signed township letters pertaining to the broadband expansion project.
