Motion by Commissioner Shives to approve the Tuesday, June 30, 2020 Meeting Minutes. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Bunch to approve the accounts payable dated July 6, 2020, in the amount of $78,003.48. All in favor. The Commissioner held a Human Services Block Grant Hearing with Julia Dovey, Director of the Fulton County Family Partnership and Wendy Melius, Director of Center for Community Action and various other Human Serviçes Agency representatives were present on a Conference Bridge. The Commissioners held a conference call with Solicitor Stein regarding County Matters, Motion by Commissioner Ulsh that the Board doesn't have any objections to the relief that is requested by the Plaintiff in Donaid J. Trump for President, inc. et al Civil Action No. 2:20-cV-966. All in favor. The Commissioners met with Lisa Mellott McConahy, Chief Clerk and Carol Wright, HR. Administrator regarding Personnel Matters. The Commissioners held a retirement board meeting via conference call with Dave Lytle and John Cramer of Conrad Sigel. The Commissioners met with Brian Barton, EMA/9-1-1 Director regarding 9-1-1 timeframes as well as Hazard Mitigation Updates. Motion by Commissioner Bunch authorizing Chair Ulsh to execute Resolution 8 of 2020 designating Brian Barton as the designee for the Hazard Mitigation Grant. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Shives authorizing Brian Barton to proceed with the 9-1-1 Technology purchasing to move forward with the 9-1-1 Project. All in favor. The Commissioners met with Karen Hann McFadden, Director of Elections regarding election matters and 2020 CDBG Proposed Projects. The Commissioner met with Christine McQuade, Director of Children & Youth regarding office matters. Christine briefed the Commissioners on the Housing Grant. Motion by Commissioner Shives to approve the Plan to Utilize 2020 Caseworker Visitation Funds. All in favor. The Commissioners met with Stéphanie Stohon and Michael Lamb, Wessel & Co and Lisa Beatty, Fiscal Administrator regarding the COVID Relief Grant.
