Meeting of the Fulton County Commissioners - Tuesday, April 27, 2021 8:30 a.m. at the Commissioners' Office Present: Commissioner Ulsh, commissioner Bunch and Commissioner Shives Others Present: None Chairman Ulsh opened the meeting with a moment of silent prayer and recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. Motion by Commissioner Shives to approve the minutes of the April 20, 2021 meeting. All in favor, Motion by Commissioner Bunch to approve the accounts payable dated April 23, 2021 in the amount of $556,932.62. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Ulsh to approve the purchase of cameras for the McConnellsburg Senior Center/Food Basket for approximately $1,000 due to vandalism and destruction of property. All in favor. The Commissioners met with Sheriff Stains, District Attorney Kendall, Public Defender Harper, Christy Unger and. James Eagler- Franklin/Fulton Drug and Alcohol, Agent Holter-Attorney General's Office, Julia Dovey, and Elwood Strait from the Fulton County Family partnership regarding the Law Enforcement Training Initiative Program Presentation to the entire group. The Commissioners held a brief Retirement Board Meeting with Jon Cramer via conference call. Those minutes are separate. The Commissioners held a meeting with Kay Stimson, Frank Dutton, John Hastings-Dominion Voting, Senator Ward, Representative Topper, Patti Hess-Elections Director, Lisa Beatty, Fiscal Administrator and Eldon Martin, IT regarding Election Matters. Motion by Commissioner Shives to approve endorsement to the Agreement between the County of Fulton and the County of Franklin fori the commitment of up to five (5) adult offenders over the age of 18 years old to its County Jail located at 1804 Opportunity Drive Chambersburg, Pennsylvania at a rate or $75 dollars per day, per inmate. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Bunch to approve the Application of Burial Expenses of a Deceased Service Person, Mr. Darylt L. Scott in the amount of $100. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Shives to approve the Application of Burial Expenses of a Deceased Service Person, Mr. Victor Kenneth Gobin int the amount of $100. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Ulsh to approve the McConnell Park Lease Agreement with Central Fulton School District for Monday, May 24th, All ini favor.
