Meeting of the Fulton County Commissioners Tuesday, September 29, 2020 8:30 a.m. at the Commissioners' Office Present: Commissioner Ulsh, Commissioner Bunch and Commissioner Shives Absent: None Others Present: None Commissioner Ulsh opened the meeting with a silent prayer and recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. Motion by Commissioner Shives to approve the Tuesday, September 22, 2020 Meeting Minutes. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Bunch to approve the accounts payable dated September 28, 2020, in the amount of $170,761.80. All in favor. All in favor. The Commissioners along with Michelle Sowers, Chief Assessor and Solicitor Stein held Tax Appeal Hearings. Minutes for these hearings are kept by Mrs. Sowers in the Tax Assessment Office. The Commissioners met with MDJ Horne to discuss personnel matters. The Commissioners met with Lisa Beatty, Fiscal Administrator and Patti Hess, Elections Director regarding the number of ballots to be printed for the upcoming Presidential General Election. The Commissioners met with Julia Dovey from the Fulton County Family Partnership, for review of the 4th quarter reports for the Medical Assistance Transportation Program and Human Services Block Grant. Motion by Commissioner Ulsh to sign the MATP report for the period of 4/1/20 - 6/30/20. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Shives to sign the Fulton County HSBG report for FY 19/20. All in favor. The Commissioners talked with Susan Cubbage, Fulton County Food Basket, by conference call regarding the purchase of a storage shed for the Food Basket. The Commissioners met with Mike Lamb, Wessel & Co, and Lisa Beatty, Fiscal Administrator, to review the grant applications for the second round of funding of the Covid-19 County. Relief Block Grant. Motion by Commissioner Shives to approve grants for nine applicants who have submitted all required documentation. All in favor.
