Youth Commissioners voted and chose the following project to work on.. Transitional Life Skills- A Community Service Project for Teens.. Discussion Discuss how many Transitional life skills will be introduced at one time? How will these life skill activities be implemented, where, and how? Where should this be at, shall we look into renting a room? Where? Will this be a day event, online, create career day type event, or what are the Subcommittee's thoughts? What do you want this to look like? Field and Fair Day? Do we invite other folks? If yes, who and how? Have you reached out to the One Eighty Teen Center? Request Advisors Meyer, Wagner, and Bhakta to be present to assist and guide. They have chosen to participant in the Love Lodi Project. Five Lodi Youth Commissioners will be graduating in May. Love Lodi will be a wonderful event to say goodbye to their community and start their college career. They take with them to college with fond memories of their time on the Greater Lodi Area Youth Commission Board and how they served their community and fellow teens. Discussion Love Lodi, who has signed up? What projects have been chosen? What Advisors will available to assist the LYC Commissioners? What time are we all meeting and where? I will bring snacks, water, and gloves. The LYC Meetings resume in August and the Commissioners would like to have a full Youth Commission board in attendance. There will be at least 5 chairs to fill. They will need a Chair, Vice Chair, and a Secretary.
