Staff recommends the City Council consider adopting the Ordinance to be read by title only, open the hearing, allow for public testimony, close the hearing, waive second reading of the Ordinance, and approve the adoption of the Ordinance. Consideration and Approval of (1) A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Arvin, California, Calling For the Holding of An All Mail Ballot Special Municipal Election on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, for the Election of One (1) Member of the City Council to Fill A Vacancy as Required by the Provisions of the Laws of the State of California; and (2) A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Arvin, California, Requesting the Board of Supervisors of the County of Kern to Render Specified Services to the City Relating to the Conduct of An All Mail Ballot Special Municipal Election to be Held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
