Program None REPORTS Director's] Report SCA: Case msaTsmathaatN Updates: 1 Butler County Drug, & Alcohol Advisory Board - March 18, 2025 Meeting Minutes The Center on Center update- The Center continues to be open three days a week from 1:00-7:00pm and membership has grown to over 130 individuals. The Center now offers weekly meetings including Refuge Recovery, a Professionals in Recovery meeting, an All Recovery meeting, and a Mothers/ Women in Recovery meeting. The center continues to work on the implementation of E-system to streamline membership applications, allow for electronic check-ins, and capture key demographic information as well as other information related to identified needs and interests. Annual Provider Monitoring- We continue to schedule annual provider monitoring visits, as per DDAP guidelines. As previously mentioned, this monitoring process typically includes all in-county contracted intervention, prevention, treatment, and treatment-related providers. a XYZ Rate Setting Process for FY 2025-26- DDAP provided their final approval oft the FY 2025-26 rate setting documents and all information was forwarded to the appropriate in-county non-hospital and halfway house providers on 2/26/25. Given the late start and revised documents, DDAP approved extending some of the deadline timeframes. As mentioned last month, we will again work as a region and form smaller committees to review multiple provider packets. County Overdose update- The total number of confirmed overdose deaths for 2024 is 43. This number is still not final as there is still 1 pending case for 2024. For 2025, as of last week, the number of confirmed overdose deaths remains at 2 and there are now 10 cases still pending. For comparison purposes: at this time last year, there had been 5 confirmed overdose deaths with 8 cases still pending. SCA Budget- Over the past several fiscal years, it has been increasingly difficult to adhere to the requirements and mandates of DDAP with minimal increases in funding. Additional funding is needed in the majority of counties across the commonwealth and as a result, many have been unable to receive the amounts requested. As a result, our office plans to submit a proposal to the commissioners requesting opioid settlement funding for treatment services. Department ofl Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) Updates: At the end of February we received notification from DDAP requesting that we complete the pre-submission packet of materials in preparation for the 2025 monitoring review. We plan to submit the completed packet within the next few days. Request for additional funding needed for state fiscal year 2024-25 update- As discussed previously, we submitted a request to DDAP for additional funding at the end of November. Our request included additional funding for treatment services in the amount of $560,000.00 and additional funding to support the Housing & Housing focused CM Services Program in the amount of $116,500.00. 2 Butler County Drug & Alcohol Advisory Board = March 18, 2025 Meeting Minutes At the end of February, we finally received notification oft the awarded amount from DDAP. We will receive the full amount of requested funding ($116,500.00) to support the SOR Housing & Housing Focused CM Services Program. Unfortunately, we were only awarded an additional $329,955.00 for treatment services. State Updates: Nothing to report Financial Report Bill Kepple reviewed the expenditures and 2024-2025 state and county budget. Case Manager Report Donna Jenereski reviewed the statistics from February 2025, for the Monthly Assessment Services, the Information/Referal Services (IRS), and the Client Location graph for the month of February 2025. Prevention Report Lisa Gill gave an overview of upcoming Drug & Alcohol prevention events and trainings. Lisa provided an updated Prevention Service Data' excel sheet, as the February formula was incorrect, reflecting all zeroes. Ms. Gill highlighted the Plugged into Mindfulness' program, reporting how successful the program has been for students. Nominating Committee Mark Lope made a motion to approve the reappointment of John Johnson to serve a second term on the Board. Kristan Semmler seconded. Two individuals are incarcerated; one pending a bed at the LTR and one on a violation. Two people are in long term treatment, two are in a halfway house, five are in IOP, and six are in outpatient treatment. Drug Treatment Court Update Donna reported there are currently twelve (12) individuals participating in the program. Three people are in a halfway house, two individuals in inpatient, two individuals in intensive 3 Butler County Drug & Alcohol Advisory Board - March 18, 2025 Meeting Minutes outpatient, and five individuals in outpatient treatment. There are at least four pending referrals and one individual will be pleading into drug court later this week. Council Members' Concerns/Comments/Ammounements There were none. Providers' GameCasAs.SN Kenneth Clowes provided flyers via email announcing the 'Hope is Dope' community classes for April and May. This email and flyer attachments were forwarded via email to board members. Public Comment Regarding General Items There were none.
