Roll Call: Present- Jeff Gardner, Doug DeMino, Kyle McVay, Houston Marchman, Laurie Marchman, Tracy Schott & Selina Angel. Absent: Priscilla Garrett, Dan and Cindy Maloney 3. No Citizen's Comments 4. Minutes for September 17, 2024 approved. Motion by Houston - 2nd by Doug 5. 515 Madrid ( Case# 2024277) Discussion and appropriate action on a request for a Certificate of Appropriateness for roof replacement and extension of commercial building in the Historic District. Consensus to approve- Motion by Kyle 2nd by Houston = passed. 6. 913 Gentilz ( Case # 2024300 ) Discussion and appropriate action on a request for a Certificate of Appropriateness for the construction of an accessory building in the Historic District. Discussion included in kind replacement of windows- doors to be facing the yard. No issues - Motion to approve made by Houston 2nd by Doug motion passed. 7. 610 Madrid ( Case # 2024304) Discussion and appropriate action on a request for a Certificate of Appropriateness for construction of a privacy fence in the Historic District. Approval was given to have the construction of the entire fence be 6' instead of 4' in the front yard due to the placement oft the home. Motion to approve passed. 8. Tim Hart's suggestion to have all prospective buyers of properties in the Historic District of Castroville to be registered in the County through the Title Company by filing covenants of record with the County. 9. Presentation by Selina Angel - Historic Preservation Officer on the Historic District and the purview of the Historic Landmark Commission. Selina provided a timeline from the beginning ofthe Historic process of Castroville. Excellent presentation. 10. Compliance issues discussed.
