Meeting of the Fulton County Commissioners - Tuesday, August 22, 2017 8:30 a.m. at the Commissioners' Office Present: Commissioner Ulsh until 9:30 a.m., Commissioner McCray and Commissioner Lynch The Commissioners opened their meeting with prayer and recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Motion by Commissioner Ulsh to approve the minutes of the Tuesday, August 15, 2017 meeting. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner McCray to approve the Accounts Payable dated August 18, 2017 in the amount of $156,623.32. All in favor. Kerlin, County Solicitor regarding the recently awarded PCOMP and PCORP Monies that have been received to repair the Courthouse Porch and steps to eliminate tripping hazards. Solicitor Kerlin will begin compilation of the bidding documents to begin the bidding process for this project. Motion by Commissioner Lynch to endorse the July 1, 2017-June 30, 2018 Purchase of Service Agreement between Fulton County Commissioners for Fulton County Services for Children And/Or Fulton County Juvenile Probation Department with Professional Family Care Services. All in favor. The Commissioners along with Ruth Strait, EMA Director recognized the Back-Up 9-1-1 Dispatchers for their services at the Fulton County Back-Up Center that was located here in McConnellsburg: Deidre Ritz, Dawn Hill, Rodney Buterbaugh and 9-1-1 Supervisor Sid McConahy. The Commissioners presented them with certificates and jackets. The Board of Commissioners thanked the Dispatchers for their dedication and support to the citizens of Fulton County. Commissioner Ulsh stated, "lt takes special people to answer the emergency calls, and we are thankful to have had such a talented group of dispatchers. Your on-call dispatching services were a vital asset in keeping 9-1-1 running efficiently over the past several years." The Commissioners met with Cory Johnson and Dan Sefick from Zelenkofske Axelrod LLL, Lisa Beatty, Fiscal Administrator and Stephanie Stohon from Wessel & Company for the purpose of the County's Annual Audit Exit Conference. As a result of this meeting, no findings were reported. The Commissioners met with Denny Koons from Raymond James Financial Services, Stephanie Stohon, Wessel & Company, Carol Wright, HR Administrator and the County Retirement Board to discuss retirement funding. Separate minutes of this portion of the meeting will be filed in the Retirement Board Minute Book. Commissioner Ulsh attended via conference call.
