UPDATES, PRESENTATIONS, PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS Update from the Parks and Recreation Department. Lacey Dingman, Director provided the update. Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Award. City Manager Mike Hodge announced that the City has again been awarded the Government Finance Officers Association award for excellence in financial reporting. 5. CITIZEN COMMENTS. There were no citizen comments. 6. CONSENT AGENDA. (a) Approval of the minutes of the February 18, 2025 regular meeting. (b) Approval of the award of FY 2024/2025 Hotel Occupancy Tax Funds in the amount of $2,500 for the Texas Tournament Zone event. (c) Approval of Resolution 2025-R-03A, a resolution authorizing acceptance of grant funding from the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Crime Prevention Authority for the Fiscal Year 2025 SB 224 Catalytic Converter Grant Program to complete the Marble Falls Police Department Flock Falcon/Condor Camera Safety Project. (d) Award of bid and approval of a Professional Services Agreement with Double Eagle Entertainment for the amount of $132,900.00for: sound, lighting, and talent acquisition for the 2025 Summer Concert Series and authorize the City Manager to execute all necessary documents. Councilmember Walker moved to approve the consent agenda. Councilmember Haltom seconded the motion. The consent agenda was approved by a unanimous vote (6-0). 7. REGULAR AGENDA. (a) Discussion and Acceptance of the proposed Fiscal Year 2025/2026 Budget Calendar. Mike Hodge, City Manager presented the draft budget calendar for Council's review. Mayor Pro-Tem Magerkurth made a motion to accept the budget calendar as presented. Councilmember Haltom seconded the motion. The motion carried by a vote of 6-0. (b) Presentation, Discussion, and Action on the acceptance of the Fiscal Year 2023/2024 Audit Report. City Manager Mike Hodge introduced Travis Rogers with Pattillo, Brown and Hill who presented the audit. Councilmnember Morris moved to accept the FY March 4, 2025 Meeting Page 2 of 4 222 2023/2024 audit report. Councilmember Hubble seconded the motion. The motion carried by a vote of 6-0. (c) Discussion and Action regarding a contract with Seaux Pierce Architecture, LLC for 30% architectural design and estimated remode/construction budget for a future city hall facility building located at 110 Avenue H, Marble Falls. Deputy City Manager Caleb Kraenzel addressed the Council regarding the proposed contract with Seaux Pierce Architecture. Following discussion, Mayor Pro-Tem Magerkurth moved to approve the contract in an amount not to exceed $76,000 for 30% design, including the proposed addition. Councilmember Haltom seconded the motion. The motion carried with a vote of 4-2. City Manager Mike Hodge provided an update on TxDOT's work at FM 1431 and Hwy. 281. a EXECUTIVE! SESSION CLOSE OPEN SESSION AND CONVENE EXECUTIVE SESSION Pursuant to $551.071 (Private Consultation between the Council and its Attorney), Pursuant to $551.072 (Deliberation Regarding the Purchase, Exchange, Lease or Value of Real Property), and Pursuant to $551.087 (Deliberation Regarding Economic Development Negotiations) ofthe Open Meetings Act.
