A quorum was established, and all members were present, except Amanda Young. 2) REGULAR AGENDA a) Presentation - Bryson Stagecoach Stop and the future of Monroe Land Property: Amy Reid, Pohl Group. City Council Workshop Meeting March 12, 2025 Page 1 of 2 Ms. Reid made the PowerPoint presentation, and she also brought along local historian Gary Spivey. Mr. Spivey fielded questions from City Council members, and provided additional historical context regarding the Bryson Stagecoach Stop. It was noted that this is a recognized historic location on the National Registry ofHistoric Places. It was also noted that this property is often commonly referred to as 'Fort Tumbleweed. There is no historic value to the name 'Fort Tumbleweed, as only the Bryson Stagecoach Stop structure has actual historical significance. The other buildings were brought in from other places at a much later time. It was also noted that all ofthe structures are dilapidated, and the ones without historic significance should probably be torn down because they are dangerous. There was no formal action taken. 3) ADJOURNMENT Given there were no further agenda items and hearing no objections from the Council, Mayor Mancilla adjourned the meeting at 5:55 PM.
