REGULAR. AGENDA AUTHORIZATION FOR THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A TASK ORDER MASTER SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH LOCKWOOD, ANDREWS & NEWNAM, INC. FOR GENERAL ENGINEERING SERVICES IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $1,200,000.00 Development Services Director/City Engineer Angela Kennedy presented background information. General discussion was held on the master services agreement and its terms. Purchasing Manager AJ Goodson advised that the total contract term isi five years and includes automatic annual renewal. Further discussion was held on the scope and process of task orders. Ms. Kennedy also advised that all future task orders will be executed by the City Manager. Motion, to authorize the City Manager to execute a task order services agreement with Lockwood, Andrews, and Newnam Inc., as presented, was made by Mayor Urbanovsky and seconded by Councilmember Horne-Williams. The roadway base work is complete, and repairs to curb lines and ramps are underway. Paving will start on 3/6. Received final approval for Old Black Colony Road at the FM 1626 traffic signal. A letter of authority is pending to start construction, and the procurement phase has started. March 7th city offices will be closed for Buda University training for all employees. Jackson Tyler Norris Memorial Skate Park will be closed for repairs. Downtown bathroom repairs: Parks Department staff repaired bathrooms, and they are ready for use. Buda Legislative Day: A group of elected officials from Buda traveled to Austin to meet with our state elected officials. Parks Commission will hold a workshop at the March 25th Council meeting regarding relocating the dog park at the Buda Sportplex. Measles outbreak: no active cases in Hays County - Persimmon construction is underway for Phase 1 of the roundabouthgadway. Budget: One month away from budget kickoff; staff seeks feedback from résidents about the budget process. Councilmember Horne-Williams requested an update on The Colony project regarding issues occurring on site.
