V. REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER A. CONTRACT C-381 Miscellaneous Mow Contract to Brightview Landscape Services Bennett Howell gave the following report: Since 2018, the City has annually contracted with a local mowing service contractor to provide mowing services at a fixed rate, which has remained unchanged for the past seven years. This agreement allowed the Parks Department to focus on higher-priority tasks. However, in response to a proposed rate increase, the City chose to rebid the contract to ensure the most competitive pricing for the upcoming term. The contract, which runs from April through November, is renewable annually with price adjustments based on the Consumer Price Index. The locations covered by this contract are shown in Table 1. Motion by Mr. Tiner, seconded by Ms. Franklin to approve the contract to Brightview Landscape Services for the Miscellaneous Mow Contract for $50,522.50. INFORMAL CITIZEN COMMENTS Cheryl Fortner, Terry Roach, and Lydia Hudson addressed City Council. VII. COUNCIL MEMBER AND STAFF COMMENTS Councimember Franklin announced an upcoming event in the community and thanked the community for supporting the Lions Club Chili Supper event. VIII.
