Those present Jeffrey Slavin, Mayor Marnie Shaul, Council Vice President Barbara Condos, Council Member Barbara Zeughauser, Council Member Franny Peale, Council Member Dudley Fowlkes, Council Member Tolbert Feather, Arborist Ron Bolt, Attorney Public Comments No Comments Consent Agenda Item Number 2, the appointment of Jennifer Marron, was moved to the non-consent agenda SO Mayor Slavin could read her email ofinterest into the record. 1. Approval oft the December 7, 2015 Council Meeting Minutes 2. Appointment of Jennifer Marron moved to non-consent agenda 3. Approval of the Mayor's nomination of Carrie Wofford, Essex, to serve on the Town Tennis Committee for a term ending 12/31/16 4. Approval of the Mayor's nomination of Robin Orseck, Dorset, to serve on the Board of Supervisor of Elections for a term ending 12/31/18 "Where People and Trees Have Deep Roots and Grow Strong" 5. Approval of the re-appointment of Dr. Alexis Carmer, Essex, to serve as the Pool Committee Chairwoman for calendar year 2016 6. Approval to move the regular Council Meeting date in July to July 5, 2016 7. Approval to move the regular Council Meeting date in September to September 6, 2016 8. Approval to move the regular Council Meeting date in October to October 4, 2016 Motion Shaul, second Zeughauser. Motion passed 5-0. Motion Shaul, second Zeughauser to approve the appointment of Jennifer Marron, Warwick, to serve on the Town Parks and Natural Resources Committee for a term ending 12/31/18. 9. Town Manager Charnovich presented the January Financial Report. 10. Ed Mulheron ofMulheron Tree Experts, was in attendance at the meeting to provide an update on winter season snow and ice removal matters, including the severe storm that commenced on January 20, 2016. No action taken. 11. WSSC and its consultant were in attendance to discuss the latest updates with respect to aj proposed project in Town Parkland adjacent to Wisconsin Avenue. It was an extensive presentation and Q and A session with the public in attendance. It was determined that the Council would consider choosing a final route for the project at the March meeting and have an ultimate goal of approving a final Agreement at the April meeting. No action taken. 12. Approval of a management contract with Community Pools for the 2016 pool season. Motion Condos, second Shaul. Motion passed 5-0. 13. Representatives from the Somerset School Foundation were in attendance at the meeting to explain the details ofthe artificial turf field and to ask for a grant from the Town Council and Mayor in the amount of $10,000.00 as part ofi its campaign to benefit the school by improving the field. Motion Zeughauser, second Condos, motion passed 5-0. 14. Brief discussion occurred about the General Code project and next meeting dates were confirmed. 15.
