Public Comment Period: None Consent Agenda 2. Approval of the June 2, 2014 Council Meeting Minutes 3. Approval of the July 7, 2014 Closed Meeting Minutes 4. Approval of the July 22, 2014 Special Council Meeting Minutes 5. Approval ofthe date for the Fall Bulk Refuse Pick Up: Monday, October 6, 2014 6. Approval to set the date for the September Council Meeting for Tuesday, September 2, 2014 due to the Labor Day Holiday. Non-Consent Agenda 7. Town Manager Charnovich provided the July Financial Report. 8. Approval of an emergency HVAC unit replacement application for 5402 Greystone Street. Motion Shaul, second Zeughauser. Motion passed 3-0. 9. Approval by the Council acting as the Local Advisory Panel to the Historic Preservation Commission an application submitted for 4721 Dorset Avenue. The A Montgomery County, Maryland Municipality applicant requested to construct retaining walls along the rear and east side property lines. Motion Shaul, second Zeughauser. Motion passed 3-0. 10. Representatives from the project taking place at the 4701 Willard Avenue Project. The representatives stated the project would last another 5 to 6 months as an estimate. The noisiest portion of the project would be taking place over the course of the next 3 months. 11. Approval of a project on Town parkland at the rear of 4524 Dorset Avenue to remove several trees including a tree that has fallen over and blocked the stream as recommended by the Town Arborist and Town Manager. Motion Zeughauser, second Condos. Motion passed 3-0. 12. Confirmation approval of a 2015 Legislative Request submission to MML in relation to the removal of surplus utility poles. Motion Shaul, second Zeughauser. Motion 3-0. 13. The Council and Mayor discussed finalizing the Memorial/Donation policy. Various items were discussed, and it was determined to table this item and finalize at a later meeting. Mayor Slavin advised the Council he would like to donate a dog refuse disposal unit to the Town at a location to be determined. 14. 2 proposals were discussed for painting work at the Town Pool. It was determined 3 proposals would be obtained in the spring and the work would be considered before the 2015 pool season. 15. Clark Baugher of Georgetown Aquatics attended the meeting to provide a pool update on the condition of the pool, layout, and future maintenance requests that should be completed. 16. Mayor Slavin made his report available for the Council and public. 17. Adjourn: 9:30 pm
