Town Manager Charnovich provided the June 2014 Financial Report 5. Storm water plan amendment for 4900 Falstone Avenue: Motion Shaul, second Zeughauser to approve the amendment to the plan. Rui Ponte, the applicant, testified installation of the tanks would be an improvement to managing storm water on the site. Motion passed passed 5-0. 6. Motion Zeughauser, second Shaul, to approve additional funding in the amount of $15,386.88 for curb, sidewalk and gutter work to be paid to D and F Construction work. Motion passed 5-0. 7. Proposals were considered that were received for the next Town Tree Maintenance Contract. Motion Zeughauser, second Shaul, to approve a 2-year Contract with Davey Tree Service (with 2-year option following a performance review). Motion passed 5-0. 8. Consideration to plant a Town owned Sugar Maple Tree at 4700 Essex Avenue and transplant the existing Willow Oak to another location on Town property as requested by the property owner at 4700 Essex Avenue. Motion Zeughauser, second Shaul. Motion passed 5-0. 9. An amendment was considered to Ordinance Section 8-206 pertaining to the time limit for a tree removal permit. Motion Peale, second Condos. Motion passed 5-0. Item not on Agenda: Dr. Feather asked the Council to consider 4 emergency tree removals at the following locations: 2 Yellowwood trees at 4807 Essex Avenue, 1 Swamp Oak at 5811 Warwick Place, 1 dead standing tree in the woods behind the pool facility. Motion Peale, second Zeughauser. Motion passed 5-0. 10. An amendment was considered to Ordinance Section 2-701 through 2-705 pertaining to the public renting the Town owned tent. Motion Peale, second Pickar. Motion passed 5-0. 11. Adoption of a Resolution setting the fee for a replacement pool key tag at $2.00 starting on July 1, 2014 as recommended by the Pool Committee. Motion Condos, second Peale. Motion passed 5-0. 12. Adoption of a Resolution setting the for morning swim to take place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7 am to 8 am (June 16 - July 25, except July 4) as recommended by the Pool Committee. Motion Condos, second Peale, to enter into an Agreement with Capital Construction of America in the amount of $2,197.50 to replace the gutter system at the Town Pool. Motion passed 5-0. 14. Motion Zeughauser, second Shaul to approve of a proposal from Oscar Decorators, Inc. including preparing the entire deck to stain finish, including all the railings. Additionally, old, rusty, joint hangers will be removed and new metal joist hangers will be installed under the deck for a total cost of $5,760.00. Motion passed 5-0 15. Motion to approve the Mayor's nomination of Rich Charnovich to serve as Town Manager/Clerk-Treasurer: for FY15 as per the Town Charter. Motion Shaul, second Pickar. Motion passed 5-0. 16.
