Non-Consent Agenda Town Manager presented the September, 2013 Financial Report Approval of Demolition, Building, Dumpster, Wall Curb Cut and Tree Removal Permits for 5524 Warwick Place. Motion Peale, second Pickar to approve the Permits and A Montgomery County, Maryland Municipality include the reports submitted by Dr. Feather for reforestation and Town Code Officer, Larry Plummer. Motion passed 4-0. Town Code Officer Larry Plummer provided a report on the construction-taking place at 5513 Uppingham Street. Approval of a reforestation plan for 4603 Dorset Avenue to include the planting of1 Black Gum and 2 fruit trees, Motion Zeughauser, second Shaul. Motion passed 4-0. Approval of the removal of a 26" diameter Red Maple Tree at 4510 Cumberland Avenue (across from 4515 Cumberland Avenue) as recommended by the Town Arborist, Motion Zeughauser, second Shaul. Approval of a final contract with Therrien Waddell for maintenance work to be completed in the Town Hall for interior painting acoustical panels, floor refinishing, signage and electrical upgrades. Additionally, register and light switch plates were added and number 5 under General Notes, Motion Zeughauser, second Shaul. Motion passed 4- 0. Approval to authorize the Mayor to submit testimony at the September Public Hearing on the County Bus Rapid Transit Plan (BRT). Motion Shaul, second Zeughauser. Motion passed 4-0. Approval ofa lawn care program that will significantly reduce the use of pesticides for the treatment and maintenance ofTown property and parkland as recommended by the Parks and Natural Resources Committee, Motion Zeughauser, second Pickar. Motion passed 4-0. Approval to permit the Somerset House to utilize the Town Tennis Courts from August 30, 2013 to September 16, 2013 while its courts are under construction, as recommended by the Tennis Committee. A reciprocal Agreement will be in place when the Town chooses to perform construction work on our courts, Motion Pickar, second Shaul. Motion passed 4-0. Approval of a Resolution confirming the closure of Wisconsin Avenue and River Road entrances on Sunday, October 20, 2013 from 8 am to 11 am for the 8KM road race sponsored by the Somerset Elementary School PTA. Motion Pickar, second Zeughauser. Motion passed 4-0. Approval of Piano Rules for the use of the piano located in the Town Hall including an amendment that only performers may play the piano during events. Motion Pickar, second Zeughauser.
