Approval of the December 1, 2014 Council Meeting Minutes 2. Approval to set 2015 Election Day on March 23 from 6 pm to 9 pm in the Town Hall "Where People Have Deep Roots and Grow Strong" 3. Approval of the Mayor's re-nomination of Dr. Alexis Carmer to serve as Pool Chairperson for 2015. Her term will expire December 31, 2015. 4. Approval of the Mayor's re-nomination of Frank Joseph to serve on the Tennis Committee for a term to expire December 31, 2017. 5. Approval of the Mayor's re-nomination of Howard Waltzman to serve on the Tennis Committee for a term to expire December 31, 2017. 6. Approval of the Mayor's re-nomination of Jeff Macher to serve on the Batting Cage Committee for a term to expire December 31, 2016. 7. Approval of the Mayor's re-nomination of Sherry Bindeman-Kahn to serve on the Board of Supervisor ofl Elections for a term to expire December 31, 2017. 8. Town Manager Charnovich provided the Council with the December Financial Report 10. 4919 Dorset Avenue rear yard variance request = the Town Attorney was in attendance and informed the Council and Mayor this didn't need to be acted on since Montgomery County had already granted the variance. 11. Approval of a Memorial Gift and Donation Policy. Motion Peale, second Zeughauser. Motion passed 5-0. 12. Approval of a donation application submitted by Jeffrey Slavin, Warwick Place, to donate a dog waste disposal unit to be placed in the Town at Founders Park. Motion Zeughauser, second Shaul. Motion passed 5-0. 13. Approval of a final 1 year contract with Community Pools for the 2015 pool season as reviewed by the Town Attorney. Motion Peale, second Condos. Motion passed 5-0. 14. Approval of an amended Town Hall Art Display Agreement. Motion Pickar, second Zeughauser. Motion passed 5-0. 15. Discussion took place with the Chairs of the Environmental Committee and Parks and Natural Resources Committee concerning the upcoming bid for refuse, recycling, and composting services. 16. Discussion took place concerning the upcoming 2015 Somerset Dolphins Swim Team budget. 17. Approval to send a letter to the Montgomery County Planning Board in relation to the Bethesda Fire Department site at 6600 Wisconsin Avenue. The letter will support the Department as a standalone station and object to the up-zoning oft the property. Motion Peale, second Zeughauser. Motion passed 5-0. 18. Representatives from Brookfield Office Properties attended the meeting to discuss the preliminary plans for the Bethesda Metro Center Outdoor Plaza that is proposed. 19.
