Consent Agenda 1 & 2. Motion Shaul, second Zeughauser to approve the November 3 Council Meeting Minutes and November 3 Closed Meeting Minutes. Motion passed 5-0. Non-Consent Agenda 3. Ed Mulheron of Mulheron Tree Experts was in attendance at the meeting to provide a brief report on winter season preparations. Mulheron Tree Experts is the Town snow removal contractor. "Where People Have Deep Roots and Grow Strong" 4. Town Manager Charnovich presented a memo to the Mayor and Council related to various winter season topics. A copy ofthe memo can be obtained by contacting the Town Hall. 5. Town Manager Charnovich presented the November Financial Report 6. Motion Pickar, second Zeughauser, to approve a HVAC Unit application submitted for 4718 Cumberland Avenue contingent upon it meeting the required noise level requirements. Motion passed 5-0. 7. Motion Zeughauser, second Shaul, to amend the Building Permit in place at 4511 Dorset Avenue for an adjusted roofheight as recommended by the Town Inspector, Larry Plummer. The roofline height was approved by Montgomery County Permitting Services. Motion passed 5-0. 8. Motion Zeughauser, second Shaul, to grant a Building Permit extension until July 6, 2015 for the project occurring at 4511 Dorset Avenue. Motion passed 5-0. 9. Motion Zeughauser, second Shaul, to approve an application submitted by Washington Gas to replace 8 services in Somerset via Keyhole and Insertion on Cumberland Avenue, Dorset Avenue, and Warwick Place (project was previously approved in February of2 2014). Motion passed 5-0. Marshall Lasky, 5611 Warwick, asked some questions about the proposed project. 10. Motion Pickar, second Shaul, to approve the removal of the following 3 trees at 5528 Trent Street: 8"I Leyland Cypress, 9" Leyland Cypress, 11" Leyland Cypress. The applicant will provide the Town of Somerset with $250.00 to plant one tree on Town property in the spring. Motion passed 5-0. 11. Motion passed 5-0. Nan Galler, Surrey, had questions about the tree being considered at 5712 Surrey and Ilene Heller, Uppingham, had questions about the tree being removed at 5503 Uppingham. 12. Motion Condos, second Shaul to accept the proposal submitted by Outdoor Illumination for lighting improvements near the Town Pool and on the Pool House at a cost not to exceed $14,000.00. Motion passed 5-0. 13. Motion Peale, second Pickar, to approve a proposal submitted by General Code at a cost not to exceed $10,000.00 contingent upon the Town Attorney's review ofthe proposal. Motion passed 5-0. 14. Motion Condos, second Peale, to approve a contract for the 2015 Pool season with Community Pools contingent upon review ofthe Town Attorney. Phil Carter was at the meeting on behalf of Community Pools to make a presentation and field questions. Motion passed 5-0. 15. Motion Condos, second Pickar, to approve a proposal from Criterion, Inc. Outdoor Furniture Repair in the amount of $3,433.20 to re-finish and re-strap 48 pool chairs. Motion passed 5-0. 16. Bids received for pest control services at the Town Pool were tabled until January or February once additional bids could be received. 17. Mayor Slavin provided his report to the Council. 18.
