Town Manager presented the November, 2013 Financial Report Approval of a recommendation acting as the Local Advisory Panel to the Historic Preservation Commission for work at 4712 Cumberland Avenue including constructing a two-story addition, rear yard deck, screened porch, attached two car garage to the west side ofthe house and relocate the existing driveway, Motion Zeughauser, second Shaul. Motion passed 5-0. Approval of a building permit extension for 5513 Uppingham Street until December 15, 2013, Motion Pickar, second Peale. Motion passed 5-0. Approval of the removal of a 18" Norway Maple tree located in the wooded area behind 5615 Warwick Place as recommended by the Town Arborist, Motion Zeughauser, second Shaul. Motion passed 5-0. Approval oft the removal of Town tree 272 located at 4700 Essex Avenue as recommended by the Town Arborist, Motion Zeughauser, second Shaul. Motion passed 5-0. Approval of the removal of 7 private trees at 4922 Cumberland Avenue, 5-tulip poplar in the rear yard and 2 Leyland Cypress in the rear yard. The applicant is required to plant 2 canopy and 3 ornamental trees, Motion Zeughauser, second Pickar. Approval to allocate $1,000.00 funding to a conservation landscaping forum on February 23, 2014 in the Town Hall as requested by the Parks and Natural Resources Committee, Motion Zeughauser, second Shaul. Approval to authorize Mayor Slavin to send a letter/testify in relation to the Zoning Rewrite that is currently being completed by Montgomery County officials, Motion Shaul, second Peale. Approval of PCO 9R in relation to the Town Hall interior renovation project in the amount of$1,447.80 to provide AS cable hanging system instead of Ogee wood trim in the Council Meeting Room, Motion Zeughauser, second Pickar. Motion passed 5-0. Approval of PCO 10 in relation to the Town Hall interior renovation project in the amount of$1,089.00 to replace the existing closet doors in the Mayor's office and pantry area, Motion Zeughauser, second Pickar. Motion passed 5-0. Tabled PCO 15 in relation to the Town Hall interior renovation project to install a one- piece slate hearth over the existing stone hearth in the Mayor's office. Approval of funding in the amount of $6,745.00 to Balodemas Architects in relation to the Town Hall interior renovation project, Motion Zeughauser, second Shaul. Motion passed 5-0. Approval of an amount no greater than $6,000.00 to be paid to Balodemas Architects for the months ofl November and December. Any amount greater than this would need to be authorized by the Town Council, Motion Shaul, second Zeughauser. Motion passed 5-0.
