BOROUGH OF SLATINGTON SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES MARCH 29, 2019 at 9:00 AM The Special Meeting was held on Friday, March 29, 2019 in Council Room, 125 South Walnut Street, Slatington, PA. Presiding: Daniel Stevens: President of Council Recording Secretary: Bryon Reed, President Pro Tem 1. The meeting was called to order by President Stevens at 9:00 AM with the following in attendance: 2. ROLL CALL PRESENT ABSENT OTHERS PRESENT VISITORS President Stevens Jason Ruff Walter Niedermeyer Edward Bechtel Bryon Reed Chief David Rachman Terry Ahner Joseph Wechsler David Schnaars Thomas Bartholomew Ronald Kratz President Stevens requested that, as a courtesy, everyone turn off their cell phones, iPhone, and electronic devises off, or on vibrate. Ifyou must take a call, please exit the council chambers SO as not to disrupt the meeting. President Stevens announced that all public sessions of Borough Council are electronically recorded and such recordings are maintained as part of the meeting record until the minutes are transcribed and approved by the Board, at which time the recordings shall be erased. 3. PRAYER AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG Councilor Schnaars 4. EXECUTIVE SESSION: None 5. PUBLIC COMMENT: None 6. Councilor Schnaars made a motion, duly seconded by Councilor Kratz, to approve filing of attached Post-Termination Notice of Rights and Charges pertaining to Mr. Salvatore Taibi. Councilor Reed made a motion, duly seconded by Councilor Schnaars, to approve estimate from Pain in The Grass for Memorial Park maintenance.
