Jason Check, Life Scout in Troop 58, present to the committee his idea to install two or three GaGa pits in Victory Park and any other park in the borough, to obtain his Eagle Scout rank. Jason Check explained GaGa pits to the committee. He would like to bring this sport to the community. The dimensions are 20 feet. by 20 feet., height is 36 inches, the floor is usually gravel, some of them are sand. The cost for the kit is approximately $500.00 each, but Jason would just purchase the necessary supplies and build it. Councilor Ruff feels something like this would be a benefit to the community. The issues he is concerned about is the where would the equipment be housed, vandalism, and that it be made to last. Councilor Ruff is not in favor of having it built at Victory Park.
