Meeting of the Fulton County Commissioners = Tuesday, January 31, 2017 8:30 a.m. at the Commissioners Office Present: Commissioner Ulsh, Commissioner McCray, Commissioner Lynch The Commissioners opened their meeting with prayer and recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Motion by Commissioner Ulsh to approve the minutes of the Tuesday, January 24, 2017 meeting. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Ulsh to approve the Accounts Payable dated January 27, 2017 in the amount of $333,633.70. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner McCray to approve Payroll dated February 3, 2017 in the amount of $110,534.20. All in favor. Matters for discussion: potential pension changes discussed through CCAP, security upgrades to be completed through AOPC funding to begin in March and review of 2016 Liquid Fuels distribution. The Commissioners met with Rich Brooks, Web Insurance to discuss 2017 health insurance premiums. The Commissioners met with Tom & Laurie Bracelin, Millenium Insurance to discuss 2017 health insurance premiums. The Commissioners met with Sidney McConahy, Mission Critical Partners Inc. and EMA Director, Ruth Strait to discuss 9-1-1 Call Taking Dispatching invoicing as well as updates regarding the Act 12 Capital Grant Allocation. Motion made by Commissioner Lynch to endorse January 20, 2017 correspondence from the Bedford County Commissioners relating to a modified rate for call taking/dispatching services for the first and second quarter of 2017. All in favor. Motion made by Commissioner McCray to give Commissioner Ulsh the authority to sign a letter of support for the Fulton County Historical Society's request to the Pennsylvania State Police Museum for the release of Memorabilia relating to the kidnapping of Peggy Ann Bradnick. They would like to utilize said memorabilia in their Museum. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner McCray to have Commissioner Ulsh endorse the 2016 Farmland Preservation Report. All in favor. Motion by Commissioner Ulsh to certify the Democratic and Republican political parties as the eligible parties for the May 16, 2017 General Primary Election. All in favor.
