CITIZENS COMMENTS: All persons wishing to address the Council under this agenda topic shall sign in at the meeting and shall be limited to a 5-minute presentation. The Council may not participate in any discussion and cannot vote on the subject you present. Absent an emergency, the earliest time the Council might discuss and vote on your topic will be at the next City Council meeting. Individuals andlor group representatives who have placed an item on tonight' 's agenda, will be allowed to make brief comments when that agenda item is openj for discussion. IV. CONSENT AGENDA The purpose ofthe consent agenda is to streamline an open meeting by approving multiple items with one vote. IfCouncil desires to discuss an item on the consent agenda, they may do SO within the Consent Agenda. (a) Minutes- City Council regular meeting minutes dated June 13, 2022. (b) Bills (c) Department Reports V. ACTION ITEMS 1. Consideration of annual review, re-adopting, and approving the City's Investment Policy Ordinance No. 2000-0801. 2. Consideration of purchasing extended warranty for 2013 Freightliner. 3. Consideration of revising Employee Handbook, Chapter 7, Section 7.2 by removing 5th paragraph that states 4 City employees, with the exception ofthe Cily Marshal, will not be allowed to drive City vehicles to commute to and from work or during lunch. City vehicles are only to be used to conduct City business. An employee is NOT COVERED under workers compensation if helshe is involved in an accident while on personal time. Personal time includes the time spent commuting to andj from work, lunch hours, or any time spent not attending to City business. And replace with "At Mayor's 's discretion, City employees will be allowed to drive City vehicles to commute to and from work or during lunch if returning to or from their residence in Lefors. City vehicles are only to be used to conduct City business, and will not be used, for personal use while off duty. An employee is NOT COVERED under workers compensation ifhe/she is involved in an accident while on personal time. Personal time includes the time spent commuting to and from work, lunch hours, or any time spent not attending to City business. V. EXECUTIVE SESSION 1. Persomnel-Consideration of employee training. (Personnel -Texas Government Code $551.074). VI. BUDGET WORK SESSION 1. Discussion-Council will conduct a Budget work session on the FY 2022-23 Budget. Council will review/revise Budget. **NOTE: This is a work session for Council. There will be no public comments during the session. A public hearing will be scheduled later. ** VII. ADJOURN. The Council may vote and/or act upon each of the items listed in this agenda.
