CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE, AND INVOCATION With a quorum present, the Special Meeting of the City of Elkhart City Council was called to order by Mayor Jennifer McCoy at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 110 West Parker Street, Elkhart, Texas 75839. Present: Mayor Jennifer McCoy, Mayor Pro Tem Raymond Dunlap, Counciimember Lucia Butler, Councilmember James Warren, Councilmember Daryll Faulk, Councilmember Chuck Conner, and City Secretary Ami Ashworth. *Mayor Pro Tem left the meeting at 6:22 p.m B. PUBLIC COMMENT None C. REGULAR. AGENDA 1. Discuss and take action, if any, on approving Resolution No. 2020-004 adopting a council relations policy. Discussion was held. Councilmembers expressed that they were happy with the way things are moving forward in the City of Elkhart. Motion was by Councilmember Conner, seconded by Councilmember Faulk to approved Resolution No. 2020-004 adopting a council relations policy. Upon vote, motion carried 4-0. 2. Discuss and take action, if any, on temporarily closing the City Office on Friday's. Discussion was held, City Secretary informed council that the new billing database would be going live in the following week. To prepare for the transition city staff requested that the office be closed to the public on Friday's. Motion was made by Councilmember Conner, seconded by Councilmember Faulk to temporally close the city office to the public Wednesday, September 16th, Thursday, September 17th, Friday, September 18th, and Friday, September 25th for software changes. Upon vote, motion carried 4-0. ADJOURN Motion was made by Councilmember Butler, seconded by Councilmember Faulk to adjourn meeting.
