Village of Bonney 03/04/2025 Special Meeting Minutes Minutes of Special City Council Meeting of the Village of Bonney held at the Village of Bonney Annex Building located at 19025 FM 521, Bonney, Texas 77583. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Raymond Cantu at 6:00 P.M. on March 4, 2025. 1. Regular Meeting Roll Call: There was a quorum with the following members present: Mayor Raymond Cantu, Alderman Karen Doyle P2, Alderman Manuel Cantu, Jr. P3 and Alderman Angela Walters P5. Alderman Position 4- Vacant and Alderman Tony Gonzalez P1 - absent. Attendees: Hellen Perales - City Secretary Dinh Ho - City Engineer Mark Esparza - Maple Development Jacob Guerrero - Meta Planning and Design 2. Public Comments - None 3. Considered and approved Aldeana Section One Final Plat (formerly Pecan Ranch, Section one) - Water, Sanitary Sewer, Drainage and Paving Facilities into the One- Year Maintenance Period. A motion was made by Alderman Angela Walters to approve the Aldeana Section One Final Plat (Formerly Pecan Ranch Section One) - Water, Sanitary Sewer, Drainage and Paving Facilities into the One-Year Maintenance Period and seconded by Alderman Karen Doyle. AYE: Alderman Angela Walters, Alderman Manuel Cantu, Jr. and Alderman Karen Doyle. Nay: 0 Motion passed. The City Engineer explained the Preliminary Final Plat was already approved by Council and the Developer has completed construction of the Water, Sewer, Drainage and Paving Facilities, the detention pond is nearing completion but the majorityof Section One is completed; however, there is a minor punch list ofi items that will be addressed within the next 30 days, such as sidewalk concrete broken to be repaired and other minor issues. Before VOB allows them to record the plat - the cityhas to accept the facilities however the MUD still maintains the facilities until such time. This basically starts the one yr warranty period for all infrastructure that they constructed. Within 11 mos. we will do a final inspection (warranty insp.) to make sure everything is completed. VOB has a Maintenance Bond that was provided by the Developer and Contractor SO that any repairs not completed, we can call surety. This acceptance process is required by the subdivision ordinance and required before we can release the recording oft the plat. In addition, ifthe punch list is not completed within 30 days, we can: suspend subdivision building permits. 4. Meeting Adjourn: Ai motion was made by Alderman Angela Walters to adjourn the Special Meeting of March 4, 2025 and seconded by Alderman Manuel Cantu.
