IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURT OF FALLS COUNTY THE STATE OF TEXAS TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES COUNTY OF FALLS COMMISSIONER'S COURT MINUTES FOR JANUARY 13, 2025 1. Proofo of posting of notice in accordance with the provisions of Title 5. Chapter 551. Government Code (Veron's Texas Codes Ann. 1994) as amended. known as the Texas Open Meetings Act. Judge Elliott asked for proof of posting and the same was affirmed by Elizabeth Perez, County Clerk, on the north and south door and the bulletin board on the second floor. 2. Public comments. No comments. 3. Elected official reports Commissioner Albright asked for an update on Chilton Annex. Judge Elliott stated that JP Madison Elliott and Constable Jerry Wood are moved in. Judge Elliott said there will be a bill for the locksmith. They had to come fix the locks on the doors. 4. Discussion and/or action concerning American Rescue Plan. Nothing at this time. 5. Discussion and/or action concerning copier lease agreement for DA's office. Commissioner Green made a motion to approve the copier lease agreement for DA's office. Commissioner Willberg seconded; motion carried. 6. Discussion and/or action concerning quarterly investment report. Commissioner Willberg made a motion to accept the quarterly investment report. Commissioner Wuebker seconded; motion carried. 7, Discussion and/or action conceming maturing investments. Judge Elliott suggested that we reinvest the two CD's that are maturing for $133,000 and $240,000. Commissioner Willberg made a motion to approve the reinvestment of two CDs for one year. Commissioner Green seconded; motion carried. 8. Discussion and/or action concerning Constable 4's annual racial profiling report and LEA minimum standards. Commissioner Wuebker made a motion to accept Constable 4's annual racial profiling report and LEA minimum standards. Commissioner Willberg seconded; motion carried. 9. Discussion and/or action concerning updating Tax Abatement Guidelines. No action, information only, 10. Discussion and/or action conçerning resolution approving appointment to the board of directors ofthe Hcart of Texas Housing Finance Corporation. Commissioner Albright made a motion to approve the appointment of Ben Perry, Commissioner Wuebker seconded; motion carried. 11: Review and discussion of Road and Bridge precinct work reports, including Administrator' 's progress report. Jeff. Jackson, Road and Bridge Administrator, stated that he met with the auctioneer, sO we can get an auction scheduled. Commissioner Albright made a motion to approve. the auction and list of equipment. Commissioner Green seconded; motion carried. Jeff also stated that he wants to turn in some equipment that is not working out and purchase different equipment. Commissioner Albright made a motion to approve the exchange of equipment. Commissioner Wuebker seconded; motion carried. Jeff will get dated for the auction and bring back to commissioner's s court. 12. Discussion and/or action concerning the approving ofpayment of bills including reimbursements. late charges, the transfer of cash or funds from any line item or departments to another, book transfers and any budget amendments including but not limited to discussion and action concerning department or non-departmental items with line items that go past their budgeted amounts. Commissioner Albright made a motion to approve the payment of all bills, budget amendments, and payroll. Commissioner Green seconded; motion carried. 13. Approval ofr minutes of prior mectings of Commissioner's Court. Commissioner Wuebker made a motion to approve the minutes of the prior meeting. Commissioner Green seconded; motion carried. 14.
