Judge Elliott asked for proof of posting and the same was affirmed by Elizabeth Perez, County Clerk, on the north and south door and the bulletin board. Discussion and/or action concerning American. Rescue Plan. The non = profits are done. 5. Discussion and/or action concerning changes to the Falls County Employee Handbook. Commissioner Wuebker made a motion to approve the changes to the Falls County Employee Handbook. Commissioner Green seconded; motion carried. 6. Discussion and/or action conceming approving county official's bond. Commissioner Green made a motion to approve the county official's bonds. Commissioner Willberg seconded; motion carried. 7. Discussion and/or action conceming accepting donations for Falls on the Brazos Park. Commissioner Wuebker made a motion to accept the donations of $500 from Thigpen Ranches, LTD and $5,000 from National Grid Renewables for the Falls on the Brazos Park. Commissioner Willberg seconded; motion carried. 8. Discussion and/or action concerning Cego-Durango WSC road cut/bore on CR 484. Commissioner Wuebker made a motion to approve the Cego - Durango WSC road cut/bore on CR 484. Commissioner Green seconded; motion carried. 9. Discussion and/or action concerning Interlocal Agreement for Assessment: and Collection ofTaxes. There are no Interlocal Agreements currently. 10. Discussion and/or action concerning new computer for Constable. Pct.1. A new computer for Constable, Pct. 1, has already been approved at a previous meeting. 11. Discussion and/or action concerning SB22 Rural Law Enforcement Salary Assistance Program. Commissioner Green made a motion to approve the SB22 Rural Law Enforcement Salary Assistance Program Grant Agreement. Commissioner Willberg seconded; motion carried. 12. Discussion and/or action concerning payout of compensatory time for one (jail employce. Commissioner Willberg made a motion to approve the payout of compensatory time for one, jail employee. Discussion and/or action concerning approval of the purchase ofs storage containers. safety equipment and data management access with Sheriff SB22 Grant funds. Discussion and/or action concerning purchase of3 new computers for the Sheriff and Jail Departments Commissioner Willberg made a motion to approve the purchase of3 new computers for the Sheriff and Jail Departments. Commissioner Green seconded; motion carried. 16. Discussion and/or action concerning updating Tax Abatement Guidelines. Nothing to discuss at this time. 17. Discussion and/or action conceming approval ofUc DY 13 FINAL IGT (indigent health care) payment in the amount of $256.386.80. Commissioner Wuebker made a motion to approve the UC DY 13 FINAL IGT payment in the amount of $256,386.80. Commissioner Willberg seconded; motion carried. 18. Discussion and/or action concerning MowerMax lease agreement. The MowerMax lease agreement will be for 4 years with Candence Bank, with the first payment being due today. Commissioner Wuebker made a motion to take the money from her budgeted health insurance line and payback to. make that payment. Commissioner Green seconded; motion carried. 19. Discussion and/or action concerning Vahia Pipeline. Discussion only, Discussed having bonds in place with the road use agreement. 20. Review and discussion of Road and Bridge precinct work reports. including Administrator's 's progress report. Jeff. Jackson, Road and Bridge Administrator, stated that he has one case ofcovid. He also has a foreman that is still out. Jeff informed that is purchased the belly dump trailer but did not purchase the haul truck. Jeff stated he received an cmail about removing endangered species from the debris under bridges. Judge Blliott is going to get the permits to burn the limbs for FEMA from TCEQ and the Texas Historical Commission. Jeff informed that the deadline for the debris to be cleaned up is November 16, 2024. 21. Discussion and/or action concerning the approving ofpayment of bills. including reimbursements. late charges, the transfer of cash or funds from any line item on departments to another. book transfers and any budget amendments: including but not limited to discussion and action concerning department or non-departmental items with line items that go past their budgeted amounts. Commissioner Green made a motion to approve the payment of all bills, budget amendments, and payroll. Commissioner Willberg seconded; motion carried. 22. Discussion and/or action concerning 2024-2025 budget including anticipated income and expenses: the Falls County Detention Center: departmental linc items: all funds. including general fund and Farm-to-Market Lateral Road Fund. upcoming year's s Appraisal District Budget: fees for processing payroll: and as relevant. what County shall charge school districts for assessing and collecting taxes. and/or other services and other matters conceming said budget. including budget requests from any elected official, or office heads. Judge Elliott presented the changes that the Sheriff's S Office brought to him for consideration. The Judge and Commissioner's discussed and decided to keep the budget the same. The only change that was made was adding al line for a gth deputy for $1. Commissioner Green made a motion to add $1, from contingency, to the line item for the gh deputy. Commissioner Wuebker seconded; motion carried. 23. Discussion and/or action conceming filing proposed budget for fiscal year 2024-2025 budget. and setting date of public hearing. and subsequent vote on 2024-2025 budget.
