Elected official reports- Judge Elliott stated that the county signed papers for the building in Chilton. Judge Elliott also stated that he has Guardian Security scheduled to scc the cost to instail a security system. Commissioner Wuebker stated that Judge Elliott and herself are going to mcet tomorrow at 3 p.m., with Texas Parks and Wildlife regarding the park grant. 4. Discussion and/or action concerning American Rescue Plan. Judge Elliott stated the bridge on CR 347 has been completed by the contractors. Jeff Jackson stated the will be finishing their part today. county Sheryl Pringle, County Treasurer, stated that two of the American Resue Plan CDs that had matured. Georgie Patterson, County Auditor, talked to JeffJackson, Road and Bridge Administrator, and decided that the funds were needed from those two CDs for the bridges. 5, Discussion and/or action concerning tax penalties and interest. Sam, with Apple Sports Import, came to commissioner' s court to ask for the tax penalties and interest to be waived for the 2023 tax year. Commissioner Albright made a motion to waive all tax penalties and interest for Apple Sport Imports for tax year 2023. Commissioner Willberg seconded; motion carried. 6, Discussion and/or action concerning approving tax trust properties to be auctioned April 2. 2024, Sheriff's resale. public John Banks presented the tax properties that are to be auctioned on April 2, 2024, Sheriff's public resale. Commissioner Willberg made a motion to approve the Sheriff S public resale of 22 with the bid being 25% ofthe appraised value oft the property. Discussion and/or action concerning WW II memorial concrete work. Discussion only. 17. Discussion conceming county jail inspection. Judge Elliott stated that thej jail did not pass their inspection. Sheriff. Joe Lopez stated that 60% of what needed to be corrected had been done. Sheriff Lopez said that he is working on getting the rest corrected. 18. Review and discussion of Road and Bridge precinct work reports. including Administrator' s progress report. JeffJackson, Road and Bridge Administrator, gave a report for the Road and Bridge Department. Jeff stated they would like to have Trash and Tire Day on May 4 in Lott and Marlin, that Commissioner Albright stated that he spoke with Model Cleaners in Marlin, and they stated they cannot the uniforms, but they could clean them. provide 19. Discussion and/ or action concerning the approving ofpayment of bills. including reimbursements late the transfer of cash or funds from any line item or departments to another. book transfers and any budget charges. amendments: including but not limited to discussion and action concerning department or non-departmental items with line items that go past their budgeted amounts.
