We wish to pay our respects to the Ancestors and Relatives of the Ramaytush Community and to affirm their sovereign rights as First Peoples. We recognize that the Ramaytush Ohlone have lived in harmony with nature for millennia, and that to achieve a truly ecologically sustainable future for Millbrae, we must embrace Indigenous traditional ecological knowledge in how we care for the city's lands, waters, and all its people. A The Lunar New Year Festival held in partnership with the Millbrae Cultural Committee had thousands of attendees on both days this past weekend. Commended staff in Public Works, Police Bureau, and Recreation for their exceptional services throughout the event. CITY COUNCIL JANUARY 28, 2025 13 Bingo Night last Friday was a great success, with over 110 attendees. City Manager Williams stated that on January 14, 2025, the City Council met in Closed Session pursuant to Governmental Code $54956.9(d)(2) regarding Anticipated Litigation. Motion carried 5-0 by roll call vote. 9. Study session of the City Council to receive information on potential updates to the city's density bonus and inclusionary housing ordinances - ACTION Video Time: 1:44:29 Community Development Director Andrew Mogensen, Planning Manager Roscoe Mata, and consultant Harris & Associates Vice President of Community Development and Housing Hitta Moseman presented the report. The Council asked questions and provided comments. There was no public comment regarding this item.
