Holober, and Councilmembers Stephen Rainaldi, Sissy Riley and Bob Nguyen. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE U.S. FLAG LAND ACKNOWIEDGEMENT The Millbrae City Council acknowledges that we occupy the unceded ancestral, traditional, and contemporary homeland of the Ramaytush Ohlone peoples, who are the original inhabitants of the San Francisco Peninsula. We wish to pay our respects to the Ancestors and Relatives oft the Ramaytush Community and to affirm their sovereign rights as First Peoples. We recognize that the Ramaytush Ohlone have lived in harmony with nature for millennia, and that to achieve a truly ecologically sustainable future for Millbrae, we must embrace Indigenous traditional ecological knowledge in how we care for the city's lands, waters, and all its people. We will continue to uplift and foster a meaningful relationship with the Ramaytush Ohlone community, and we encourage all to visit www.ramaytush.org to learn more about the Ramaytush Ohlone people. 1. Residents are encouraged to explore the new public amenity, which features new playground equipment, basketball courts, picnic areas, and more. Local businesses can now showcase their commitment to sustainability through the Green Business Initiative. More information is available on the City website. > The San Mateo Daily Journal Millbrae Senior Showcase was held on January 31 with over 300 attendees. > Fix-it Clinic had an excellent turnout for repairs and skll-sharing. Public hearing to consider the issuance of bonds by the California Municipal Finance Authority in support of a qualified residential project at 1301 Broadway - ACTION Mayor Fung opened the Public Hearing. Community Development Director Andrew Mogensen presented the report. The City Council received comments via electronic mail on this tem before the meeting from: Carpenters Union Local 217 San Mateo County The following members of the public spoke regarding this item: Nels Delander, Carpenters Local 217 Darin Clark, NCCU Applicant Gene Broussard of AMG & Associates, LLC provided comments and responded to City Council questions. The Council asked questions and provided comments. Motion by Fung/Rainaldi to continue the item to the February 25, 2025 City Council meeting and encourage the developer, labor unions, and stakeholders to engage in dialogue to discuss their concerns.
