Blairsville Borough Council Special Joint Meeting Minutes January 29, 2025 1. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Jeff Gromley, District 4 Representative. The purpose of the joint meeting is for the deliberation of the proposed ordinance to delegate the administration of the EMS to a county created Authority. 2. Roll Call - Taken by Rob Brady, Consulting Firm, for all the municipalities that were represented. 3. Ap presentation was made by the consulting firm. 4. A discussion was held with the members of the audience regarding the pros and cons of creating a county wide Authority. 5. At 8:57 PM the meeting was called to order by John Bertolino for Blairsville Borough. a. Roll Call - The Council members present included Mr. John Bertolino, Ms. Kaitlyn Sagely, Mr. Albert Dettorre, Mr. Robert Startari, Mr. David Janusek, others in attendance included Mayor Ronald Evanko and Jody Poorbaugh, Manager/ecretary, b. A motion was made by Ms. Kaitlyn Sagely and seconded by Mr. David Janusek to table the adoption of the EMS Authority ordinance until the next Borough council meeting in February. This will give our residents an opportunity to attend our meeting. Approved 5/0. C.
