These are the issues that were discussed Tuesday & Wednesday with some of the downtown business owners and at the DDA Meeting that we feel need to be presented at the City Council meeting on March 17th. 1. Cost of paving privately owned portions of City Hall parking lot 2. Need for more handrails and handicap access on Liberty Street 3. Need for a solution to the nomeless/ vagrant problems downtown 4. Dilapidated properties need to be addressed, and owners held accountable 5. Ar recycling center or dumpster for cardboard 6. Specific trash dumpsters a. 1 in City Hall parking Lot b. 1 in alley behind Junk in the Trunk Need to be dumped 3 times per week Need to be cleaned up around them 7. Clean up sidewalks, public parking and other areas downtown PLEASE send me any additional concerns that you would like to be added to the list. Generally, Council meetings falling on a holiday will be postponed to the following day. Council meetings start at 6:00 p.m. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend all meetings. However, not all meetings are public hearings.
