CONSENT AGENDA 2.1 Action to approve the minutes for the February 18, 2025 regular called meeting. Coucilmember Manning made a motion, seconded by Comncilmember Morales, to approve the mimutes for the regular calledi meeting held on February 3, 2025. The motion) passed mmanimously. PRESENTATIONSIRECOGNITIONS None. ITEMS CONSIDERATION/DISCUSSION 4.1 TxDot Presentation on the State Highway 16 Sidewalk Projects. No presentation was given. City Manager Debbie Molina gave an update. stating that TxDot is frying to bring in another crew, 10. start on the other side tofinish the project sooner. 4.2 Discuss and consider re-submittal of the Preliminary Application (PA) to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) 2025 Transportation Alternatives (TA) Call for Projects; and authorize the City Manager to execute any and all necessary documents. Mayor Pro Tem Gonzales nade ai motion, seconded by Comcilmember Morales to. re-submit the Preliminary Application (PA) to the Texas Department ofTransportation (7xDOT) 2025 Transportation Alternatives (TA): Call for Projects; and authorize the Cily. Manager to execue any and all necessary documents. The motion carried unanimously. 4.3 Discussion and possible action to approve an Ordinance amending the budget of the City of Jourdanton, Texas, fiscal year beginning October, 1, 2024, and ending on September 30, 2025, for the Sports Complex and Aquatic Center; and setting an effective date. Coucilmember Morales made a motion, seconded by Commcilmember Maming to approve an Ordinance amending the budget ofthe Cily fJourdanton, Texas, fiscal year begimming October 1, 2024, ande ending on September 30, 2025,for the Sports Complex and. Aquatic Cenler; and selling an efective date ofSeplember 30, 2024. The motion carried unanimously. 4.4 Discussion and Possible Action to authorize the City Manager to withdraw funds from the Sports Complex fund for the baseball and softball field maintenance and purchase and install new bases. Councilmember Manning made a motion, seconded. by Councilmember. Morales to approve authorizing the Cily Manager to withdrawy finnds from the Sports Complex findfor the baseball andsofball field maintenance. and purchase andi install new bases to not exceed the amount of$49,473.00. The motion carried nanimously. 4.5 Discussion and possible action to consider a change to the franchise fee and possible creation of an administration fee related to the City's collection and disposal of solid waste service fees. Councilmember. Mamning made a motion, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Gonzales to direct the City Attorney to draf an ordinance with a 49franchise fee and create a 6% administration) fee for residential collection and disposal of solid waste services.
