XAS CITY OF ROLLINGWOOD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION MINUTES Monday, January 13, 2025 The RCDC of the City of Rollingwood, Texas held a meeting, open to the public, in the Municipal Building at 403 Nixon Drive in Rollingwood, Texas on January 13, 2025. Members of the public and the RCDC were able to participate in the meeting virtually, as long as a quorum of the RCDC and the presiding officer were physically present at the Municipal Building, in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act. A video recording of the meeting was made and will be posted to the City's website and available to the public in accordance with the Texas Public Information Act upon written request. CALL ROLLINGWOOD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION MEETING TO ORDER 1. Roll Call President Colin Harvey called the meeting to order at 5:34 p.m. Present Members: President Colin Harvey, Emily Doran, Bobby Hempfling, and Pat Sheehan Also Present: City Administrator Ashley Wayman, Interim City Secretary Makayla Rodriguez, City Attorney Stanley Springerley, Council Member Brook Brown, and Council Member Phil McDuffee PUBLIC COMMENTS There were no public comments. CONSENT AGENDA 2. Discussion and possible action on the minutes from the December 9, 2024 RCDC meeting Emily Doran moved to approve the meeting minutes. Bobby Hempfling seconded the motion. The motion carried with 4 in favor and 0 against. REGULAR AGENDA 3. Update and discussion regarding an overview of the Commercial Corridor zoning code changes Thom Farrell, 3223 Park Hills Drive, provided an overview of the commercial corridor zoning changes as well as discussed the framework and criteria that guided their implementation. The RCDC and Thom Farrell discussed development opportunities and ideas. Community Development Corporation - Minutes Monday, January 13, 2025 Council Member Brook Brown continued discussion on the zoning changes for the commercial corridor. The RCDC asked questions regarding future development. Council Member Brook Brown and Thom Farrell shared that they look forward to seeing new development. 4. Discussion and possible action to elect a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Rollingwood Community Development Corporation The RCDC agreed to postpone the item until the next meeting. 5. Discussion and possible action regarding Park Commission's park improvement projects Melissa Morrow, 2502 Timberline Drive and Chair of the Park Commission, discussed the Park Commission's existing projects as well as proposed projects. She stated that she hopes to bring more projects to the RCDC in the near future. 6. Discussion and possible action to review and revise proposed representative committee members President Colin Harvey shared previous discussions to form a group to meet with developers to discuss possible development in the commercial corridor. He reviewed a list of individuals with RCDC. 7. RCDC Financials through December 2024 Pat Sheehan reviewed the financials through December 2024. City Administrator Ashley Wayman and the RCDC discussed a previous study done and the possibility of funding a new study. 8. Discussion and possible action on identifying and prioritizing projects for 2025 President Colin Harvey and Bobby Hempfling discussed project ideas for economic development. Thom Farrell shared information about the commercial corridor with the RCDC. ADJOURNMENT OF MEETING The meeting was adjourned at 6:35 p.m. Minutes adopted on the day of maech 2024.
