Minutes of the Meeting of the Collegevile-Trappe Joint Public Works Department Trappe Borough Hall Trappe, Pennsylvania January 28, 2025 Ms, Perlin called the Collegeville-Trappe Joint Public Works Department meeting to order on the above date at 7:11 PM, Members present were Mrs. McKinney, Mrs. Beckius, Mr. Farr, Mr. Strauss Mr. Borrelli and Ms, Perlin. Also present were attorneys James Gallagher of Kilkenny Law, LLC, and Dave Onorato of Hladik, Onorato & Federman, LLP, the engineer, Matt Boggs, of Entech Engineering and the Director, Joseph Hastings. The members stood for the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, Mrs. McKinney motioned a slate of nominations as follows: Ms. Perlin for the position of Chairman, Mrs. McKinney for the position of Vice Chairman, Mr. Strauss for Treasurer, Mr, Farr for Assistant Treasurer, Mrs. Beckius for Secretary and Mr. Borrelli for Assistant Secretary and the reappointment of Hladik, Onorato and Federman, LLC and Kilkenny Law as co-solicitors, and Entech Engineering, Inc. as the Engineer. Mrs. Beckius seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. MINOTES: Mrs, McKinney made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of December 18, 2024, as presented. Mr. Strauss seçonded the motion and it passed unanimously. PUBLIC INPUT: There was. no public input. ENGINEERING REPORT: Mr. Boggs presented the Engineer's Report to the committee and is attached herewith, There was no update on the Castle Cove project. The engineer reported construction has been ongoing for the Fugo Tract development. The water modeling is complete and has been a huge help for connection scenarios for the PFAS Treatment or Interconnection Study. There was no update on the Bronson Circle Development project. Mr. Boggs reported construction of the water mains for the 56-62 Seventh Ave Development project ae complete and is expected to be paved once the weather breaks, The engineer introduced his colleagues, Karen Pollock and Austin Schneck who were in attendance to address any questions about the PFAS Treatment or Interconnection Study. The draft study was presented and reviewed. The engineer was directed to provide a detailed cost breakdown for the NPWA interconnection and the option to set up three treatment locations in the system at Well 6A, the Well Field and Well 15 with an emergencyi interconnect to Aqua PA. TREASURER'S REPORT: Mr, Strauss presented the Victory Bank's check register which is attached herewith. The beginning balance on the check register as of December 18, 2024, was $307,851.77 deposits were Page 1 of2 Collegeville-Trappe Joint Public Works Department - Meeting Minutes January 28, 2025 $192,001.76 and disbursements were $370,314.25 leaving an ending balance of $129,539,28 on January 27, 2025. Mr. Strauss motioned to approve check numbers 2092 through 2138, all EFTS and journal entries. Mrs. McKinney seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously, Mr. Strauss reviewed the other financial reports which are attached herewith, DIRECTOR'S REPORT: Mr. Hastings presented the Director's Report to the Committee and is attached herewith, The Director reported a gas service was damaged at 200 West Third Avenue, Trappe, due to an incorrect mark out. SOLICITOR'S REPORT: Mr, Onorato reported there has been no movement on the class action suit. Mrs. McKinney made a motion to approve the Business Reports, which was seconded by Mr. Strauss and the motion passed unanimously. OLD BUSINESS: There was no old business. NEW BUSINESS: There was no new business. PUBLIC INPUT: There was no public input. The meeting was adjourned at 9:08 PM to an executive session to discuss personnel matters.
