Mayor Announcements 1.January 20th is Martin Luther King Day, City Hall will be closed 2. Feeding Fannin will be February 4th 3. Applications to be put on the ballot for May elections are open from January 15 until February 14, 2025. Applications can be made at City Hall. There are 3 seats on the City Council open. 4. Next regular City Council meeting will be held on February 17, 2025 V. Citizens Comments- (State law prohibits the City Council from considering or deliberating on items not listed on the posted City Council. Agenda. A person may address the Council on items not on the printed agenda. Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per person and the council may not comment ofdeliberate regarding such statements or comments during this period. New Business-Discuss Consider Action A. Upper Trinity to give an update / presentation on the progress of] Lake Ralph Hall. B. Adding Surety or guarantor to water accounts for rental properties January 16, 2025 C. Change Contractor Permit applications to include that the certificate holder at bottom to include City ofLadonia, and that contractors validate that they are on the permit before work begins. Can no longer collect a "permit fee". Have all permits end at the end of the year they were submitted. D. Have Maurice Schwanke update our City Code of Ordinances to bring them into current compliance with Government Codes E. Approve Upper Trinity's proposal to replace existing water line along the east side ofCR 3640 from FM 64 approximately 1,500 feet north of the Field's water line. They will install a 2-inch line at no cost to the City ofLadonia. F. City of Ladonia joining the Fannin County Water Supply Association; membership fee will be .25 per water meter annually. X.
