Dena Miller, 402 Prestonwood Polo Club Drive, informed the Board of an upcoming polo event at Prestonwood Polo Club March 26th through March 30th. Prestonwood Polo Club will be the host site for this year's USPA Intercollegiate National Championship Tournament. This event will draw people from all over the United States. 4. Consider and act upon the minutes from the January 13, 2025 regular meeting of the Oak Point Parks and Recreation Commission. Commissioner Steczko made a motion to approve the minutes from the January 13, 2025 regular meeting of the Oak Point Parks and Recreation Commission; motion seconded by Commissioner Case. Motion Passed 5-0 5. Consider and act to approve a Monarch Waystation at Jake's Place Park. Mayor Pro Tem Dufford gave a presentation about the Monarch Butterfly gardens he visited in Mexico. Commissioner Case made a motion to approve a Monarch Waystation at Jake's Place Park pending approval of a grant; motion seconded by Commissioner Miller. Motion Passed 5-0 6. Consider and act to recommend approval of a contract with MHS Planning & Design for grant writing services for a TxDOT grant for sidewalks. Commissioner Steczko made a motion to recommend approval of a contract with MHS Planning & Design for grant writing services for a TxDOT grant for sidewalks; motion seconded by Commissioner Case.
