County Auditor, August Patroelj addressed the Court with that due to the loss in valuation, that this is the only reason for the tax increase. Honorable Judge Eric Ramos informed the Court that if the increase is not done, then a 10% decrease across the board and the cutting of some positions would have to be done. A decrease in retirement rate will also have some savings in payroll Thej possibility ofnot doing the raise for elected officials this year Thes sell ofthe Blumer Building to the Ed Rachal Foundation, and that they would lease to the County once renovated; the Penly and Wilder Building was also discussed, to offer to sell it to the Ed Rachal Foundation as well.
